Falconara is situated on the south-eastern coast of Sicily, between Agrigento and Ragusa, in an enchanting position overlooking the sea. Its neighbour is the magical medieval castle of Falconara, erected in Norman times to repel the invasion of the Moors. The famous Valle dei Templi of Agrigento, the Villa del Casale in Piazza Armerina with its splendid mosaics, Caltagirone with its craft made ceramics and the pearls of the Sicilian baroque Ragusa Ibla, Modica and Scicli are all within easy reach.

SEA
Bordering the hotel's beautiful Mediterranean gardens is a pretty bay with a sandy beach and just above the beach is a sandy terrace with beach umbrellas, sun-beds and beach towels which are all available free of charge. Snack bar available for drinks and finger food.

INFRASTRUCTURE AND BEDROOMS
Opened in 2007, the brand new “Falconara Charming House & Resort” is built on land once lived by the peasants who worked inside the Castle. The attention to details and the choice of materials used in the construction have all been carefully chosen for their elegance. They contribute to creating an ambience where art and nature truly live together.

The main building, called “Club House”, is only 200 m from the seashore and it houses the majority of the bedrooms. Particular attention has been given to the restoration works of “La Fattoria”, once the Castle's dependence, where today the rest of the bedrooms are housed, the majority having a wonderful sea view.
The 65 bedrooms are equipped with telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, mini-bar, safe, hair dryer, bathroom with shower.

“Club House”
- 36 Classic double rooms situated on the ground floor with a patio facing the gardens, or on the first floor with a sea view and balcony;
- 3 Junior Suites consisting of a double bedroom with a living corner and a bathroom with bathtub/shower situated on the ground floor with a patio facing the gardens, or on the first floor with a sea view balcony;

“La Fattoria”
- 14 Superior double rooms ,all situated on the ground floor. Some of the Rooms ( Garden view only) have two French-beds and an additional 3rd bed is available on request. The other rooms have a double bed and front sea view only.
- 8 Junior Suites consisting of a double bedroom with a living corner with a 3rd bed available, situated on the ground floor with a patio or on the first floor with a balcony, garden or front sea view;
- 4 deluxe Suites, spacious (sometimes on two levels), all with additional 3rd/4th bed available and each with its own character (Barone Chiaramonte Bordonaro, Principe Branciforte, Montereale, Pietrapagliata), situated on the ground floor with a patio or on the first floor with a balcony, garden or front sea view.

RESTAURANTS AND BAR
Half board basis includes buffet style breakfast and waiter service dinner. For lunch there is a choice between a snack or a light lunch at the bar (available at an extra cost).
